Resources

The following are community resources to help you navigate broadband opportunities in Hawaii:

Connect Kākou

The significant funding will help to connect the unconnected and make sure everyone, from keiki to kupuna can unlock life-changing possibilities.

Hawaii State Public Library System

Hawaii Digital Navigators are real people that can help you with technology questions on the phone or in select libraries in person. The goal is to help you get answers to technology questions and learn skills that help use technology and the internet with confidence!

The Northstar Digital Literacy Program offered through the Public Library System can help you build the skills needed to use a computer and the internet in daily life, employment, health and education.

Hawaiʻi Broadband and
Digital Equity Office

The State of Hawaiʻi Broadband and Digital Equity Office (HBDEO) supports and coordinates the statewide deployment of high speed internet access (broadband) to achieve the goals of digital equity and adoption for all Hawaiʻi residents. In 2024, HBDEO will play a role in administering the Digital Equity Capacity Grant funding that will be released by NTIA for implementation of the Hawaiʻi Digital Equity Plan.

Pacific Basin Telehealth Resource Center (PBTRC)

The Pacific Basin Telehealth Resource Center (PBTRC) is committed to expanding the availability of healthcare to underserved populations via telehealth and serves as the primary telehealth information resource for the Pacific region. If you need assistance implementing a telehealth program or aren’t sure where to begin, PBTRC can help you get started.

Hawaiʻi Broadband Hui

A grassroots effort among a diverse group of participants established during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, to discuss opportunities and challenges faced by those in the community and offer solutions to digital inequity across Hawaii.
