Another full meeting of the Maui Nui Digital Coalition!  This was a virtual meeting with the Maui, Molokai, and Lanai Chapters on Wednesday, October 15 from 12:00 to 1:30 PM.  We had many exciting speakers share current updates in the broadband and digital equity space, including the following, among others:

• Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke

• University of Hawaii (UH) Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program updates, including their Final Proposal and upcoming infrastructure deployment projects (fiber and satellite) across Maui County 

• Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program (TBCP) overview, accomplishments, and upcoming project roll-out

• Hawaiian Telcom updates on broadband infrastructure roll-out

• Maui County program updates on Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) support for Maui Nui Broadband Initiatives

• Maui Nui Digital Navigators special announcement… and a digital literacy challenge!
